You are an experienced deal professional (highly experienced manager or Associate Director) with 5+ years of relevant work experience at a Big 4 lead-advisory or TS team (ideally advisory and buy side experience) with experience working across other functional teams (tax, commercial, valuations, integration, restructuring), being the lead client contact, managing team members to meet deadlines and co-ordinating with other advisors in deal processes.
You are able to develop strong relationships at all levels and collaborate effectively with our global team and targets. You have extensive M&A experience across a variety of sectors ( Technology and Logistics would be an advantage), strong project management skills and experience over the deal cycle with a continuous improvement mindset.
Language skills and experience in integration are advantageous but not essential. You will be highly proficient with PowerPoint and excel including basic financial modelling skills and practical valuations experience.
Working with a highly experienced team and using our in-house process and tools you will have responsibility for overseeing due diligence projects and ensuring our deals are executed efficiently and effectively. You will have exposure at each stage of the deal cycle:
Selection, valuation and offer:
assess potential targets
conduct initial financial analysis and value potential targets
work through appropriate deal structures alongside advisors and other internal teams
construct and recommend offer
prepare and deliver pre-deal board packs.
plan and lead financial diligence analysis and reporting with the support of our in house team
co-ordinate other due diligence teams including external advisors
prepare and deliver final approval board packs

You will become part of a team which takes a collaborative and constructive approach to our deals in order to achieve “Win-Win” outcomes. The relationships you establish through the deal process will form the basis of the relationship we have with key group managers in the future and you will have the opportunity to see the business perform as part of our Group.

You will be expected to contribute creative solutions to obstacles which arise but demonstrate an ability to recognise and balance risk. You will be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get things done and also recognise the importance of improving our process and creating lasting improvements.
