D365 Finance & Operations - Functional Support Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive D365 Finance & Operations Functional Support Specialist to support and evolve our enterprise D365 F&O platform. This role suits someone with strong functional depth, solid technical awareness, and a customer-focused mindset who enjoys owning support outcomes in a complex, integrated environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide functional support across D365 Finance & Operations modules (including Finance, Supply Chain, Procure-to-Pay), ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests
• Configure and maintain D365 F&O features including security, workflows, batch jobs, and system settings in line with best practices
• Troubleshoot and support third-party ISVs and customizations integrated with D365 F&O
• Maintain and improve integrations with other enterprise applications, working closely with internal developers, partners, and vendors
• Collaborate with Microsoft support and external partners to resolve complex functional and system issues
• Monitor system performance ensuring stability and reliability in support of agreed business processes
• Participate in system enhancements, upgrades, and patch testing, including impact analysis
• Document solutions, workarounds, and system changes to build a strong knowledge base

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ experience as a Functional Consultant or Support Specialist in Microsoft D365 F&O environment
• Strong functional knowledge of Finance and Supply Chain processes
• Hands-on experience with system configuration, personalization, and security setup
• Working knowledge of workflows, automation, integrations, and functional troubleshooting
• Experience supporting ISV solutions and customizations within D365 F&O
• Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Apps or Power Automate
• Familiarity with ITIL service management framework is desirable

Nice To Have

• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Functional Consultant or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance and Accounting, or a related field
• Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate) is an advantage
• Background in finance or business operations to better understand end-user perspectives
• Prior experience working as a Functional consultant in a consulting or project environment
