Sydney, Australia, September 14, 2012 — CargoWise®, a global leader in technology solutions for logistics service providers (LSPs) announces the successful implementation of ediEnterprise by global logistics provider HTL Logistics, headquartered in Bangalore India.

The implementation is supported by the CargoWise MESH program, which offers customers usage-based pricing, comprehensive maintenance, education, support and hosting services for the ediEnterprise system. This enables companies like HTL Logistics to rapidly roll-out new software systems without additional costs for training or hardware.

The initial implementation took place across HTL Logistics’ five key offices in India over a six week period. This was followed by rollouts in offices in Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh,Singapore and Hong Kong. Ten offices in six countries in South Asia are now operating from a single global database hosted in CargoWise’s Sydney, Australia data center.

According to HTL Logistics Director Ilham Reyaz, ediEnterprise’s integrated operations and accounting system has eliminated the need to manually transfer data between different software applications, providing a significant increase in productivity throughout the organization.

“With the CargoWise system I now have access to information from all my offices from a central location,” says Reyaz. “Our entire customer base is on a single database and integrated reporting process, which previously took a lot of time. It now can be done on the spot,” he says. “We are confident that ediEnterprise is easily the best software for our industry. The per-user pricing model and that fact that we can have the software hosted makes it even more attractive.”

Mike Coney, Vice President ofBusiness Development – Asia for CargoWise says the HTL Logistics roll-out demonstrates the efficacy and robust nature of CargoWise’s hosted software platform and its capacity to deliver quality services across the Asian region.

“We are delighted that when HTL Logistics evaluated ediEnterprise, they realized that we could add a lot of value to their business,” says Coney. “They’ve taken advantage of the entire MESH program from the classroom training through system support, ongoing maintenance and hosting -- and it’s already beginning to pay off.”
