We have six new courses launched in WiseTech Academy this July.

On the industry learning front, a new three-part series traces tea’s journey from plantation to teacup - covering processing and packaging, the compliance, logistics, and warehousing required to move it across borders, and the consumer trends and trade risks reshaping the market.

On the product learning side, three new CargoWise courses cover the areas where margin is quietly won or lost - the transit warehousing stage between freight legs, the value-added warehousing services that go unbilled, and the rate data behind every quote. That includes our first course covering CarrierConnect C3.

Industry Learning
The Global Tea Trade: a new three-part series

Few commodities tell the story of global trade better than tea. It grows in a handful of regions, is consumed almost everywhere in the world, and passes through processing plants, ports, customs regimes, bonded warehouses, and last-mile networks before it reaches a shelf, with every handoff carrying cost, compliance obligations, and quality risk.

This three-part series follows that journey end to end and serves as a practical framework for any high-value, quality-sensitive commodity, not just tea.

Designed for professionals across tea production, trade, procurement, logistics and supply chain management

CargoWise Product Learning
Transit Warehouse in 10 Minutes – GLOBAL

Freight rarely moves in one continuous motion. Cargo arrives, waits, gets consolidated, and moves again. Yet for many forwarders, this stopover can create operational gaps between warehouse activity and the wider forwarding process.

Transit Warehouse is now part of the CargoWise Value Pack (CVP), so the cost barrier that once kept it out of reach no longer applies. This 10-minute overview introduces the module’s core concepts and terminology, explains how it supports import and export cargo, and shows how it works alongside Forwarding module to deliver package-level traceability, real-time visibility, barcode accuracy and workflow automation.

Designed for forwarding decision-makers and operational leaders.

Product Warehouse (3PL): Services – GLOBAL

Warehouse teams do more than store and ship. Additional services get delivered every day, often at short notice and on the floor rather than at a desk. Work that never gets recorded never reaches an invoice, and unbilled services are one of the most common sources of margin leakage for 3PL operators.

This course covers the end-to-end processes for value-added services and ad- hoc services in CargoWise (now part of CVP), across desktop and RF workflows: when to use each service type, how to create and manage service orders and jobs, and how to record and complete work on RF devices so it flows through to accurate billing.

Designed for warehouse staff and operational users who want to make full use of the service options available to them.

Universal Rates Service Configuration – GLOBAL

Choosing a carrier has never been just about price. Cost, transit time, reliability and CO₂ emissions must all be weighed together. But when that information is scattered across portals, spreadsheets and inboxes, teams often choose based on what is easiest to find—not what is best for the shipment.

This course shows administrators how to configure CargoWise Rates Services and enable Universal Rates Service and CarrierConnect C3 within the CargoWise Value Pack. C3 brings contract and spot rates, schedules, carrier performance and CO₂ emissions into one place, helping teams balance cost, performance and sustainability when choosing a carrier. It is also our first course dedicated to C3.

Designed for system administrators, who are often the decision-makers on implementing these tools.
