Internal Communications and Engagement Manager

We’re an ASX listed tech company looking for a highly motivated Internal Communications and Engagement Manager who will develop and deliver a range of programs and communications to engage and inform our key internal audience groups.

This role sits within our Global Growth Team, reporting to the Corporate Communications Manager. With a focus on internal engagement, it will be a diverse role with involvement across various stakeholders including senior executives, technical teams, people and culture and other areas across the business. Working closely with our People team you will play a critical role in driving the internal communications and engagement activities, including:

  • Taking ownership of the internal communication strategy, planning and execution to support and build employee engagement in a scalable way.
  • Providing expert internal communications advice and support to the business including to senior stakeholders
  • Support the People team in building on the WiseTech employee brand
  • Managing the internal communications channels (e.g. employee newsletters, emails, town halls etc) and building on our channel mix as we continue to grow globally
  • Measure the effectives of our internal communications and engagement activities, and provide recommendations
  • Working closely with the events team and other internal stakeholders to build employee events.

About you

You’re hands-on and passionate about building and executing communications and engagement strategies that enhance culture and values for rapidly growing businesses. You have great communication skills and can work across an organisation, building strong relationships to help you deliver exceptional results. You understand the complexities of working in a global organisation and the importance of delivering communications that are scalable and can be translated in over 12 of the world’s leading languages. If you have at least 6 years’ experience in an internal communications role in a medium or large sized business, this role could be for you. Experience in the tech industry will be seen favourably (but is not essential).
